Privacy Policy
Craft Enterprises ("Craft," "we," "us") provides telecom expense management, utility expense management, mobility management, managed IT, managed communications and related professional services. This policy explains what information we collect through our website and in the course of providing those services, how we use it, and the choices you have.
1. Who this policy covers
This policy applies to visitors to www.craft-ent.com, people who contact us or request an audit, users of our client portal at connect.craft-ent.com, and representatives of our clients and prospective clients.
It does not change the terms of any signed services agreement, statement of work, business associate agreement or data processing agreement between Craft and a client. Where a signed agreement conflicts with this policy, the signed agreement controls.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Contact and audit requests. Name, company, work email, phone number, the service area you're interested in, and anything you choose to write in the message field.
- Documents you send for review. Carrier and utility invoices, service inventories, contracts, and similar records you provide so we can perform an audit. These frequently contain account numbers, service addresses, circuit and meter identifiers, and usage data.
- Client portal information. Account credentials, user role and the records you or we upload to the portal.
- Employment inquiries. Resumes and any information you include when writing to our careers address.
Information collected automatically
- Standard server log information such as IP address, browser type, referring page, pages viewed and timestamps.
- Information collected by cookies and similar technologies, described in section 6.
3. Client data we process on your behalf
A significant part of our work involves handling records that belong to our clients — invoices, contracts, service inventories, device lists and vendor account information. When we handle that material in the course of delivering services, we act on our client's instructions and for our client's purposes. We do not sell it, and we do not use it to build products or services for other clients except in aggregated or de-identified form that does not identify the client.
Client records may include limited personal information about a client's employees, such as a name, work email, work phone number, job site or an assigned mobile device number. We handle that information only as needed to deliver the service.
4. How we use information
- To respond to audit requests, quotes and other inquiries.
- To perform the services we've been engaged to provide — auditing invoices, filing and pursuing disputes with vendors, provisioning and managing services, and reporting results.
- To communicate about accounts, service changes, outages and scheduled work.
- To operate, secure, troubleshoot and improve our website and client portal.
- To send business communications about our services, where permitted. You can opt out of marketing messages at any time.
- To comply with legal obligations and to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
5. When we share information
We do not sell personal information. We share it only in these circumstances:
- Vendors and carriers. To place orders, open disputes, port numbers, migrate lines or otherwise act on a client's behalf, we must share account and service details with the relevant carrier, utility or equipment vendor.
- Service providers. Companies that support our operations — hosting, email, ticketing, telecom expense platforms, accounting and similar — under contracts that limit their use of the information.
- Professional advisors. Attorneys, auditors and insurers where reasonably necessary.
- Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing or sale of assets, subject to reasonable confidentiality protections.
- Legal requirements. Where required by law, subpoena or other legal process, or to protect the rights, safety or property of Craft, our clients or others.
6. Cookies and analytics
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies that are necessary for the site to function, and may use analytics cookies that help us understand how the site is used. Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies through their settings; some site features may not work correctly if you do.
7. How we protect information
We maintain administrative, technical and physical safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration and destruction. These include access controls, encryption of data in transit, restricted handling of client records and periodic review of our practices. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Please do not send sensitive information such as account passwords, payment card numbers, Social Security numbers or banking credentials through the website contact form or by unencrypted email. If we need that kind of information, we will provide a secure method.
8. How long we keep it
We keep information for as long as needed for the purpose it was collected, to maintain the audit trail supporting disputes and credits, and to meet legal, tax, accounting and contractual obligations. Client records are retained and disposed of in accordance with the applicable services agreement.
9. Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you, to request correction or deletion, to opt out of certain uses, and to appeal a decision we make about your request. To make a request, email support@craft-ent.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting, and we will respond within the time required by applicable law.
If your information was provided to us by one of our clients as part of the services we deliver to them, we will generally refer your request to that client and assist them in responding.
You can unsubscribe from marketing email using the link in any such message, or by writing to us.
